        It all started when a friend of mine approached me to paint a chair for a charity auction. I was so thrilled at the idea!  I have always been passionate about art since I was a little girl. I remember my uncle bringing me to attend art classes in the museum where he worked, when I was only around 6 years old or so. As I grew up I was involved in different venues of the arts and even had one of my paintings displayed in an art show. I didn't think to pursue my love of painting as a carrer so I did it just for fun.  When this opportunity came to me I was excited. I thought what a great idea! to use a chair as a canvas. I painted a child's chair and when it came time for the auction I had butterflies in my stomach, for the first time someone is going to put a price on something I created. It did well and  I was so thrilled. During the event I was approached by a woman who puts together a show with a few selected artists and she asked me if I would be interested to have some pieces in it, and with my husbands urging I said yes and the response was amazing and the rest as they say is history. . . It was meant to be.   

 

             Along with my husband, son and golden retriever (my boys) I now live in a quaint little historic town that is close enough to the city while still maintaining it's small town charm. We are located in the beautiful state of Wisconsin where we still have a town square and neighbors are always ready to lend a helping hand. I have been in the Art and Craft show circuit for a little over four years now and with the encouragement of my wonderful husband and everyone else around me I have created this site to be able to share my love of painting unique pieces of art with more people. I paint what inspires me, so it could be just about anything from Horses,botanicals, seasons, Primitive/Folk Art, Phrases and Quotations and the list goes on. You did not expect me to focus on just one theme did you.. I try not to limit myself that way, after all where's the fun in that? In the coming months I will have new pieces to show you so make sure you stop on by to take a peek, one of those pieces may be that one of a kind piece you can't live without and it just might be what you were looking for (you just don't know it yet).

 

Every piece I paint has a piece of me with it for I put my heart and soul into each  and everyone of my creations.  I truly am blessed to be able to do what I love and to be able to share it with all of you is even a greater reward.  I thank God for all the blessings he has given to me and especially for our son  and my loving, supportive and very understanding husband who made it possible for me to pursue this venture.
